how to write and submit your Letter
1) Let Us Know!
Click HERE to let us know that you’re planning to submit a letter. Why? Two reasons! Firstly, so we have an idea of how many letters are being sent, and secondly, so we can get the submission fee covered, if you need help with that. There are two ways to submit:
a) Very, very easy, and the fee will be covered - but you have less time to do it: Once you have followed steps 2 and 3 below, please send your letter as a google doc, Word doc, or even a regular old email to us HERE by the 4 AM on Tuesday, January 25. So unless you’re a night owl, that’s really Monday night! Dublin is Dying needs them will print it out, submit it to An Bord Pleanála and pay the fee in person on Tuesday evening, Irish time (six hours ahead of us here in Chicago.)
b) Also pretty easy, you have more time to submit, but you’d pay the €50 fee yourself: go on to step 4 below once you’re happy with your letter! The absolute cutoff time is 11:30 AM US time, of Wednesday the 26th of January, which is 5:30 PM in Dublin. But definitely, the sooner the better, in case there are any issues!!
