If you’re new to the Shepherd School, please contact us using any of the forms on this website to register for classes of private lessons. We will help you figure out what suits you best, and can create new class options for the upcoming term based on demand. Shepherd School classes are geared to youth musicians; Devin teaches adult group classes through the Old Town School of Folk Music.
Beginning Fiddle
The current beginning fiddle group class is for children under 13 with about one year of experience.
INtermediate Ensemble
The intermediate ensemble is for students under age 12 who can play simple dance tunes (polkas, slip jigs, single reels) at a moderate tempo. All instruments are welcome.
Advanced Ensemble
The advanced ensemble is for accomplished teen musicians under age 18. All instruments are welcome. .
Private Fiddle LEssons
Available for fiddlers of all levels, including complete beginners.
Private Harp LEssons
Available for all levels, including complete beginners.
Private Irish Piano LEssons
Available for all levels, including complete beginners.
